Communication
Social services department is one of the other national organizations of the government. Social work was started in the country in 1955 but in 1961 social services department was created. Today, the creation of the 1960s has been promoted to the Department of Social Services. The activities of the Directorate were initially based on city-based and service. At present, this department has expanded at grassroots level throughout the country. Department of Social Welfare, Social Welfare Ministry is working relentlessly to strengthen the social safety net with comprehensive and multipurpose programs for the welfare and development of the destitute, neglected, backward, poor, orphans, autistic and disabled people and the disadvantaged sections of the society.
